POC is delighted to announce a new partnership with the Swimming Teachers Association
STA is an international award-winning charity working towards the objective of preserving human life by the teaching of swimming, lifesaving and survival techniques. With over 19,500 members, STA develops qualifications in swimming teaching, lifesaving and leisure management to support the needs of the industry.
The Pool Operators Club is pleased to offer STA members a 10% discount on any yearly membership subscription, enabling full access to our educational videos, weekly Q&A webinars and members Community forum, a dedicated space for commercial pool operators to connect, share knowledge, and support one another. We are delighted to announce, as of 11th March 2025, the Pool Operators Club is open for membership. Martyn Hardy, Andrew Gaffey and Robbie Phillips have been working hard to offer a winning membership formula, providing ongoing learning, community, advice and support for all commercial pool operators.
Every pool is different, and different countries may have their own pool standards or regulations, but the fundamental principles of good pool operating practice remain the same. We therefore encourage and welcome members from around the world who have a passion to deliver great facilities and top class water quality for their customers.
The Pool Operators Club® is delighted to support the STA's Ripple Effect, a new campaign focused on strengthening the UK swimming teacher workforce and supporting the long-term sustainability of learn-to-swim provision. The Ripple Effect is a non-time-limited initiative, allowing funding, partnerships and impact to grow over time. At its core is a simple principle: when you train a swimming teacher, you change thousands of lives. Funds raised through The Ripple Effect will be pooled into a ring-fenced bursary fund, supported by a combination of public donations, fundraising bids, commercial partnerships, everyday giving initiatives and additional financial contributions from STA.
